These exquisite glass pitchers were handblown and fired in the famous furnaces of Murano, the island of glassmaking, located in the Venetian lagoon just a stone's throw from Venice itself. Conceived by the renowned glass designer, Marie Brandolini of Laguna B studio, each piece is made individually by a master artisan using techniques that have guided Venetian glassblowers for generations. Despite using traditional practices, Laguna B brings a fresh, young perspective to the art of glass making. The unique design, the fine shape, and the delicate weight of each vessel combines the quality of Murano glass with the design of a modern artist. I became completely taken with all of Laguna B's work when visiting Venice in the fall of 2024, and I am so pleased to bring this special capsule to Reed Smythe & Co.
